It’s been an interesting and challenging year in the financial planning industry. However, I would like to say a special thank you to all my clients who have stuck by me and new clients who have taken the leap of faith to engage my services. I will continue to strive to provide the best possible personal advice, ongoing service and care as I can. Examples of some of the big wins for clients over the year included:

• getting insurance claims approved after they were initially declined;
• convincing a client to keep his insurances after a redundancy who three months later made a successful claim for $400,000;
• increasing clients’ part age-pension entitlements; managing client portfolios successfully during turbulent times;
• reducing tax via salary sacrifice and tax-deductible super contributions,
• assisted clients with their loved one’s Aged Care assessment; and
• a number of successful retirement plans that met the client’s income goals and longevity needs.
